Telarus Releases Mobile App for Partners

New app gives advantage to its partners with instant access to fiber optic routes, lit buildings, data center locations, and more. 

June 25, 2015 SANDY, UT — Telarus, Inc., master agent for business data, voice, cloud, and data center services, today announced the release of its new mobile app, designed to give its partners the ability to access carrier pricing, data center locations, location of fiber optic cables, and other information while in the field with their customers.

Now we are extending that reach to the field, where Telarus partners will be able to ‘wow’ their customers with the near-instant access they have to information that helps in the supplier selection process. The Telarus app features a simple-to-use interface that allows its partners to:

  1. Look up metro fiber routes
  2. Look up the locations of every data center in the United States
  3. Look up the contact information for the partner’s unique list of local supplier channel manager
  4. Look up their own Telarus President’s Club status
  5. Look up their Telarus support contacts
  6. Access new supplier product and Telarus back office training videos
  7. Provide feedback for new features

 

“For over a decade we have been building proprietary technology from everything ranging from simple access pricing, to the more advanced fiber and data center lookup tools,” added Patrick Oborn, co-Founder of Telarus and patent holder of GeoQuote. “Top producing partners are often away from their office and we needed to put time saving tools in their hands. . We had to figure out a way to push information out to them in a mobile-friendly format that would make their lives easier, which is exactly what this app was created to do. More importantly, this app also forms the platform by which we can push our additional features as we dream them up.”

The app was unveiled to the public during the annual Telarus Partner Summit in Park City, Utah. Telarus partners can download the app – named ‘Telarus’ – for free in the Apple iTunes store as well as the Android store. Each user must have a valid/current Telarus agent ID and password in order to unlock the app.
