BROADVIEW UPGRADES OFFICESUITE PHONE SERVICE

By Claire Cleveland

IT and cloud services provider Broadview Networks has added features and enhancements to its OfficeSuite Phone service.

They include a PC-based softphone that provides supervisors, managers and receptionists with an intuitive color-coded dashboard for directing and managing incoming calls for their entire business. Customers can now record selective incoming and outgoing calls for any extension or phone number and save them to the cloud. A voice mail transcription function automatically emails the transcript of every recorded message.

The system now has enabled multi-desking: Executives and managers with multiple offices and employees on the go can have as many as five phones logged into a single OfficeSuite Phone extension at once. OfficeSuite dialer turns a phone call into a click from an email, webpage, document or directory. Finally, the do not disturb feature allows one-touch phone to redirect a single incoming call to voice mail or to another destination when they are too busy or unwilling to take a call.

“We continue to adapt and develop our services to stay ahead of the evolving trends and requirements of our business customers,” said Jeff Blackey, senior vice president of marketing at Broadview. “Unlike other providers that leverage third-party software to service customers, we own the code used to service OfficeSuite Phone customers and actively develop the service based on what customers tell us they want.”

These features and upgrades are available now to all current customers.
